Airbnb to rent out life-sized Polly Pocket house

JACKSON, Tenn. — Polly Pocket is becoming an Airbnb host!

The ’90s-era icon is opening a life-size two-story “Slumber Party Fun” compact in Littleton, Massachusetts.

The 42-foot tall home includes pockets full of nostalgia.

From Polly’s vanity stuffed with hair and nail accessories to throwback looks in her closet.

Guests can get comfortable watching a movie on the couch or head to the life-sized action park tent just 10 feet away.

The Airbnb is open to guests for single night stays from September 12 to September 14.

“Guests will literally be immersed in Polly’s world the second they step into the compact. It is one-for-one with the 1994 toy compact. So everything from the wallpaper to the carton of eggs sitting on Polly Pocket’s kitchen counter are one-for-one with the compact, and there’s lots of different Easter eggs throughout the space that guests can experience,’ said Ali Killam, communications lead at Airbnb.

It costs $89 per person as a nod to Polly’s debut in 1989. Bookings will open August 21.
