WBBJ 7 Forecast Update:

It felt between 105-110° for most of West Tennessee Friday evening. The front will pass by on Saturday and could bring another round of morning showers & storms with the greatest chances in our southern counties. Depending on where the front stalls out on Sunday, there could be a few morning showers on Sunday too with the greatest chances being areas close to Memphis. TONIGHT:

The hot and humid weather continued on Friday before a cold front will be approaching early Saturday and will bring another round of showers and storms with it. Friday highs again reached the mid 90s and it will felt well into the triple digits in the afternoon and evening. An excessive heat warning and heat advisory were issued but will expire later tonight. The winds came out of the southwest and the skies were partly cloudy but cleared out some this evening. Rain chances are 30% tonight with the greatest shot for seeing the rain will be in our southern counties. Friday night lows will again fall down to the mid 70s making for another warm and humid night.

THE WEEKEND:

Depending on the timing of the late week front, we could see some showers and storms sticking around for our Saturday morning. Plus if the front stalls out, we will pick up a chance for a few showers to linger into early Sunday as well but that does not seem real likely at this time. Highs could reach the low 90s on Saturday or even the upper 80s depending on the timing of the front. Sunday will be cooler than Saturday but we should also see more sunshine on Sunday too. The winds will start out of the southwest before transitioning to the west and then the northwest this weekend as the cold front digs in. We will be watching the timing of the front this weekend but as of now, the weekend is looking pretty nice across West Tennessee.
