Accidental shooting sends one to hospital

JACKSON, Tenn — An accidental shooting sent one to the hospital.

It happened Tuesday night on Fernlawn Street in Midtown.

Jackson police said a man was allegedly accidentally shot in his lower body.

No information about the victim is being released at this time.

Officials said he was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
