Two vehicle accident slows traffic along U.S. 45 Bypass

JACKSON, Tenn.—In a developing story, police are investigating a crash in North Jackson.

We found out about this crash thanks to our WBBJ-7 Eyewitness News tipsters.

We received calls and information via social media about a crash at the intersection of the U.S. Highway 45 Bypass and Old Humboldt Road around 12:30 this afternoon.

When our crew arrived on the scene, they found two cars that had apparently collided and blocked traffic.

Multiple police units were seen working to direct traffic around the area.

There’s no immediate word on injuries.
