Unseasonably Cool And Dry Stretch
Weather Update: Monday, August 19 —
If you enjoyed Sunday, then you’re going to absolutely love not just today, but also the entire work week. An unseasonably strong trough is in place over the entirety of the Mid-South and much of the Eastern US. Surface high pressure will gradually move ESE. The overall effect will be even cooler and drier air that will mix down to the surface Tuesday through the midweek period. In fact, its quite possible we could at least tie up the all-time record low temperature on Wednesday morning, 56°F/2012.
