Exchange club invites local football coaches to talk about upcoming season
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Exchange Club held a special meeting Tuesday. Hosted at the Doubletree by Hilton, the club invited high school football coaches of city and private schools in Madison County to speak.
This tradition brings community together to hear coaches talk about their upcoming seasons and has been happening for at least 15 years.
“We love getting all the coaches together to see the camaraderie between them and then, if we have any questions, we’re able to go up and speak to them individually afterwards so it’s a great group of coaches,” said Jodie Wood, president of the Jackson Exchange Club.
The Jackson Exchange Club meets every Tuesday at 12 p.m. at the Doubletree. Those interested in joining are invited to drop by.
The exchange club helps fund the Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
