Office Depot raises money to support North Parkway, other schools

JACKSON, Tenn. — A local store is helping teachers and students with a shopping spree.

Office Depot is big on education and is partnering with schools across the country. North Parkway is their partner school.

They raised money in the store through customer or employee donations to help support the school.

The teachers were able to get some supplies for their classroom, ultimately helping their students with their education.

“We’re trying to get our scholars ready for college or whatever career they want so these supplies, these products here will make them be even more great,” said Lakeesha Holloway, 6th grade ELA teacher at North Parkway.

If you don’t have a student at North Parkway, Office Depot will still help in other ways.

When customers come into the store they can mention the school their kid goes to. The store will then put 5% of their purchase back to their kids’ school.
