Ms. Elease “Cookie” Brown was born on July 20, 1958 in Jackson, Tennessee. She departed this life on August 25, 2024.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at New Greater Bethel A.M.E. Church. She will lie in state at the church from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Open Visitation will start on Friday, August 30, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Bledsoe Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Parkway Memorial Gardens.
