UPDATE: U.S. Marshals arrest 16-year-old following shooting in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — One person is dead following a weekend shooting in the Hub City.

According to the Jackson Police Department, officers responded to a report of a shooting at Lincoln Courts around 3:30 Sunday afternoon.

Police say upon arrival, officers discovered a deceased male victim inside an apartment.

No further details have been confirmed at this time.
