A cold front is coming Friday evening that could bring a few storms and showers with it, but it is going to be bringing in cooler weather for all of us. Catch the full forecast information, including who could be falling into the 40s this weekend. Catch the full forecast details coming up here.

THIS WEEK:
There is a low pressure system spinning in Texas that will bring some clouds our way tonight and into the start of the day on Thursday. The system could bring a few showers tonight but most of us in West Tennessee will not see much. The greatest chances for seeing the rain tonight will be areas along the Mississippi River or bordering the state of Mississippi. Most of the rain will stay west and south of Jackson. The shower chances will clear out Thursday early morning and mostly sunny skies will be back for Thursday. Highs will stay near 90° until the weekend.

The coolest weather in months is on the way behind a major cold front on Friday. The front will not bring much in the rain department but a weak storm or two and some scattered showers will be possible. But if you are hoping for drought busting type rain, it isn’t coming. Friday will start out nice and the front will move through in the evening hours and the cooler weather will dig in for the weekend.

THE WEEKEND:
The coolest weather in months is coming and many of us will pick up our first chance to fall into the 40s since May over 100 days ago. The weekend looks to be dry but both mornings will be quite cool. There is a chance some of us will not reach the 80s this weekend, even under sunny skies. The cooler weather will remain as we kick off next week but some warmer weather may try to show back up by the middle of next week.
