Phyllis Carol Dutton

Phyllis Carol Dutton, 74, of Union City passed away 2:45 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2024, surrounded by her family at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Ronnie Glisson will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Moore, Timmy Moore, Skylar Irvan, Michael Irvan, Zach Goetz and Adam Hamrick.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Dutton and Clarence Dutton.

Phyllis was born February 18, 1950, in Union City, daughter of the late James Clarence and Grace (Rigsby) Poole. She married Jack Nelson Dutton July 3, 1965. Phyllis had been employed at the former Brown Shoe Company. She enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, and was an avid Kentucky Wildcat basketball fan. Phyllis was a member of Reelfoot Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jack Dutton of Union City; two daughters, Debbie Dutton of Union City and Carolyn Goetz (Chuck) Dukedom; six grandchildren, Kevin Irvan of Union City, Michael Irvan (Tiffany) of Florence, Mississippi, Tyler Moore (Brittany) of Union City, Timmy Moore (Kathryn) of Troy, Kayla Hamrick (Adam) of South Fulton and Zach Goetz of Martin; and sixteen great grandchildren.
