ABCmouse.com now available free to Jackson Madison County Library cardholders
JACKSON, Tenn. – Jackson-Madison County Library is excited to announce the addition of ABCmouse.com to our collection of resources available for free with a library card. ABCMouse Home Access for Libraries, a fun, educational online program for children (ages two through six) is now available. Developed by Age of Learning, Inc., this award-winning educational program is already in over 1,000 public libraries, 150,000+ public school classrooms, and millions of households including thousands of homeschool families. ABCMouse provides unlimited access to thousands of learning activities designed to build skills in core subjects like reading, math, science, language skills (Spanish), and social studies.
Children can play entertaining games, solve puzzles, create art and so much more. ABCMouse’s layout is easy to navigate for both children and parents. Users can chart their knowledge journey step-by-step on My Learning Path, focus on school subjects in the classroom, and take a virtual field trip to the zoo or farm.
“A little fun, educational screen time for the little ones. ABC Mouse is one of the best tools available for helping to teach math and reading skills early. And now we’re offering it FREE with your library card. It takes a few minutes to sign up but it’s worth it,” said Jennifer Kilburn, Children’s Librarian.
The library is offering this service, normally $12.99 per month, free to Jackson-Madison County Library cardholders. Access requires a library card number. Creating an account is a simple process and starts by visiting https://www.abcmouse.com/blho-check-out.
