Jackson International Food and Art Festival to kick off this weekend

JACKSON, Tenn. — One local festival is celebrating diversity through art, music, and performances. This festival is bringing people together through all walks of life.

The 10th annual Jackson International Food and Art Festival is set to take place on Saturday, September 21 at the Fairgrounds Park in Jackson.

From 10 a.m. to 6p.m., visitors will be able to enjoy a parade of cultures, food, arts and crafts, and live performances celebrating the rich diversity of West Tennessee.

This family friendly event will consist of a children’s creative activity area and special performances.

Admission is free, making this an exciting opportunity to enjoy this cultural experience.

“The 4:30 to 6:00 will be a free concert that we’re giving to the public as a thank you for the continued support all through the year,” said Dr. Sandra Dee with the Jackson International Food and Art Festival.

This event promotes togetherness, union, and friendship.
