2nd annual Hub City Film Festival returns September 26
JACKSON, Tenn. — Grab your popcorn and make sure you have the best seat in the house for this Hub City event.
The Hub City Film Festival will return for the second year. This event will be in three different locations across Jackson showcasing different feature films, seminars, and a red carpet event on the last day.
The Hub City Film Festival will be held on Thursday, September 26 through Saturday, September 28. During seminars, attendees can learn about producing films, working in the industry, as well as tools to succeed.
Organizers are excited for the red carpet night which will be on Saturday, September 28 at The Ned beginning at 4:30 p.m.
“Jackson is really big on the arts but there’s just no one representing this form of art. Just because not a lot of people either know about it or know how to do it. We’re used to just going to the movie theater and watching the movie. But there are people here that dream of doing that and dream of making those things. So, I think I am excited and want people to come and see the showcase of what’s right here in West Tennessee,” said Shelby Tyre, director and founder of the Hub City Film Festival.
