Shirley Evans
Shirley Evans, age 79 of Paris, TN passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at her residence. Visitation with the family will be on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at McEvoy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Murray Memorial Gardens in Murray, KY. There will be no funeral service. Pallbearers will be Joe Waddell, Tony Sipes, William Bussey, and Stephen Page.
Shirley Evans was born April 7, 1945, in Paris, TN to the late Carl Jefferson Atwood and the late Bernice Mae Stewart Byrd. She is survived by two daughters: Teresa Mosley of Paris and Melissa (Joe) Waddell of Henry; grandchildren: Jordan Mosley, Jackson Mosley, Zack Poe, Quincy Poe, and Xander Poe; brother, Robert Eldridge; many nieces including Lori Page and LeAnn Ball; and other relatives including great nephew, William Bussey.
Besides her parents, Shirley was also preceded in death by three sisters: Sara Calhoun, Mary Carline Norton, and Linda Carol Ball.
