Bobby Gene Terry
Bobby Gene Terry, 89, of Hornbeak passed away 8:50 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2024, at his home.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Obion County Memorial Gardens. Brother Ron Gray will officiate.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:40 p.m. Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be family members.
Bobby was born June 23, 1935, in Obion County, son of the late Leonard Ray and Vera (Henson) Terry. He married Tammie (Baker) Terry October 3, 2009. Bobby had been employed at Federal Pacific Electric in Des Plaines, Illinois and Sta Rite in Union City where he was shipping manager. He served in the United States Army at Fort Campbell. Bobby enjoyed building muscle cars, drag racing and working in his yard.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Tammie Terry of Hornbeak; his daughter, Lisa Stowe and husband Kevin of Union City; his son, Alan Terry of Troy; his stepson, Chadwick Milton and wife Sarah of Wilmington, Delaware; eight grandchildren, Collin Terry of Atoka, Conner Terry, Colby Terry, Catherine Clancy Cochran and Michaela Glisson all of Union City, Maghen Clancy Avery and husband Collin of Jackson and Owen Milton and Olivia Milton both of Wilmington, Delaware; one great granddaughter, Clancy Avery of Jackson; and two brothers, James Terry of Troy and Joe Terry of Arlington.
He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley (Pendrick) Terry on April 18, 2001; and two sisters, Marguerite Crocetti and Bettye Green.
