Annual ‘Dancing with the STARs’ fundraiser returns to Jackson October 24

JACKSON, Tenn. — Sponsors, dancers, choreographers and more! An annual event prepares to gather people from all over the community.

The Star Center’s Dancing with the STARs fundraiser presented by Leaders Credit Union is coming up Thursday, October 24.

It’ll be held at the Carl Perkins Civic Center with 7 couples dancing that night. Each couple are local stars of the community.

Almost 1,000 people are expected to be there to support the Star Center’s mission to help any person with any disability achieve their potential.

“Come out, see us, because it’s going to be new and fresh this year. We’ve made some changes and I think the people who are attending are going to be wowed by them,” said Jennifer Graves, president of the Star Center.

The Star Center has provided services for education, employment, and independence for all ages and needs since 1988.
