Weather Update: Saturday, October 12 —

Good morning West Tennessee. After a cool start to the morning temps will be on the move fairly quickly as the day progresses. A surface cold front will approach the Ohio Valley later this evening, but ahead of it there is some midlevel moisture moving in over the Mid-South, which will help develop some clouds as the day goes along. We don’t anticipate any precipitation with it, but it will be nice in taking the sting off the heat at the warmest hours of the day.  The aforementioned front will move closer to the Mid-South on Sunday, but it won’t actually pass by until Sunday evening, which you’ll notice with a shift of the winds from the North later in the day on Sunday, then falling temps into the upper 40s by Monday morning!
