Humboldt man wanted for attempted murder
HUMBOLDT Tenn. — A Humboldt man is wanted after stabbing his ex girlfriend. According to the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department, Antonio Jacques Pewitte, aka Shade, who has a prior history of domestic violence attempted to kill a woman he shares a child with by stabbing her four times in the face and one time in the forearm.
The Bells Police Department immediately obtained a search warrant last evening and attempted to locate the suspect at his residence. The white Tahoe that eyewitnesses observed him driving was on the property.
The Bells PD seized that vehicle and discovered blood stains on the interior of the vehicle. Pewitte is wanted on charges of attempted first degree murder, aggravated domestic assault, and more charges may be forthcoming as this is an ongoing investigation. According to the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department, Pewitte should be considered armed and dangerous.
