Team of The Week Peabody GoldenTide

Let’s start things off out of Trenton as the Peabody Golden Tide has been voted our team of the week. They defeated the JCM Cougars
with a final of 23-7.The Golden Tide played at a high level in all three phases of the game offense, defense and special teams.

The tide are a team who love to run the football with winning at the line of scrimmage and wearing on defenses. Speaking of defenses
theirs have only given up 14 points in the last two games. Things look to be steering in the right direction as they head deeper into the season
with postseason implications on the line. We caught up with head coach Shane Jacobs and he spoke on Friday’s win and what’s at stake with the playoffs
around the corner.

“I think just are guys being physical upfront i thought we were physical Friday night has kinda been the challenge the last few weeks get more physical and play a little more fundamentally sound did
a good job tackling in space JCM extremely athletically extremely well coached coach Turner a really really good football coach does a great job with our guys so just really proud overall
of how well we played. Yeah the main thing for us is where four and one in region play it’s a tough region so being four and one with a big region game Friday night very important we play well in that region in that game and every game in this region is important.”

They look to win three in
a row this Friday. But ,will have
a tough test as they travel to play
the Milan bulldogs on Friday at 7:00 pm.
