Lexington Holiday Mart held

LEXINGTON, Tenn.—In one local city, shoppers are getting an early start at picking up those holiday gifts.

Lexington Holiday Mart was held today from 9 this morning until 4 this afternoon.

The shopping extravaganza was held inside the gym of Lexington Christian Academy.

The event hosts over 30 vendors offering everything from handmade crafts, clothing, holiday décor, jewelry, and lots more.

There was also food trucks on site to grab a bite to eat.

“This holiday season I think it’s very important to support local. This time in our country is a little different and it’s very important to pour back into our communities and to small businesses,” said Lauren Dickson, Financial Representative for Modern Woodmen.

Guests could also pose for a photo with Santa at the event.
