Diane Spisak Pede, age 78, resident of Oakland, Tennessee and wife of the late Joseph Pede, departed this life Thursday morning, November 7, 2024 at her home. Diane was born April 4, 1946 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, the daughter of the late George Spisak and Sadie Shneer Spisak. She was employed as a hairstylist for many years and loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Diane enjoyed working with flowers, shopping, going to lunch with her family and friends, going on cruises, entertaining and her two dogs, Marley and Lola. While living in New Jersey, she loved going to plays. Mrs. Pede is survived by her son, Anthony Saginario and his wife, Alicia; her sister, Donna Mavuro; her brother, Richard Spisak; four grandchildren, Ashley Saginario, A.J. Saginario, Tiffany Alfonso and Mitchel Gerlach; two grandchildren, Grace Alfonso and Josie Gerlach; and his nieces and nephews, Richie Spisak, Christopher Spisak, Gina Mavuro, Nick Mavuro, Jason Spisak and Paul Spisak. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Spisak. Funeral Services for Mrs. Pede will be at 2 P.M. Friday, November 22, 2024 at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Memphis. A visitation will be from 11:30 A.M. to 1 P.M. Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. The family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
