Isaiah 117 House holds ribbon cutting ceremony for new location

TRENTON, Tenn. — One nonprofit organization that provides care to children in need has a big announcement.

The Isaiah 117 House hosted a dedication earlier Thursday evening in Trenton. The organization provides physical and emotional support in a safe and loving home for children awaiting foster care placement. The facility will be able to serve Gibson, Dyer and Crockett counties.

The event featured several local speakers as well as Isaiah 117 House officials who say they’re happy that this day has finally come.

“[We’re] So thankful for the community, for all the people that had their hands on this house, for people praying for our contractors working and crafting things inside the house. Were just unbelievably grateful and this is a huge blessing and a great day for us,” said Bethany Luckey, care coordinator for Isaiah 117 House.
