Westview Football sendoff to Chattanooga for State Championship
Earlier today the Westview Chargers Football team had one last sendoff. They took off for Chattanooga
as they prepare for their class 3a State Championship game. They’ll have a day to settle in and get a couple nights of rest.
They are fresh off a semifinals win against East Nashville where they defeated them 50 to 36. The Chargers are currently
undefeated with a 14-0 record with first year head coach Matt McConnell who last coached at Camden and a freshman quarterback Graham Simpson
who is a Mr football finalist. Westview are also the region champions as well.

Now they have their work cut out for them this Friday as they are the underdogs heading into the matchup with powerhouse Alcoa.
