Police block off road following South Royal Street wreck

JACKSON, Tenn. —  A wreck on South Royal Street leaves traffic blocked off as officials work on scene.

Around 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, we received multiple calls from WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News tipsters regarding a wreck on South Royal Street. Once we arrived on the scene, multiple roads were blocked off and first responders could be seen working.

Our crew also noticed a damaged vehicle near a telephone pole.

We reached out to the Jackson Police Department who was not immediately available for comment. However, according to the Jackson Police Department via the Atlas One app, they received a report of an accident with injuries on the 500 block of South Royal Street around 8:20 p.m. No further information is available at this time.
