Officials offer $5,000 reward for information on hotel fire in Savannah

SAVANNAH, Tenn. — Shortly before 5 a.m. on December 11, the construction site of the ‘Sleep Inn’ on 125 Million Dollar Way in Savannah caught fire.

However, investigators are unsure of how the fire started. TBI Special Agents and investigators have teamed up with the Savannah Police and Fire Departments, the Hardin County Fire Department, and agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for information.

Officials say the fire is believed to be suspicious in nature, and investigators are interested in learning more about who may have been in the area around the time that the fire started.

The Tennessee Arson Hotline is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information on what caused the fire. If you have information that could assist them, you are urged to call them at 1-800-762-3017.
