Mostly Cloudy And Mild Again Today
Weather Update: Thursday, December 26 —
Good Morning West Tennessee, we have another mild start to the morning. Temps only dropped to around 50° overnight. This morning there is a weak mid-level wave producing some light spotty rain towards the Bootheel of Missouri and a few sprinkles in Northwest Tennessee by extension. Much like the last two days now, there’s still not been an efficient flux of moisture here at the surface which will keep the day mainly dry. Above normal temperatures will remain the main theme, though rain chances will finally increase as a surface warm front surges north ahead of a newer low pressure system moving through the Red River Valley shifting east into the Lower Mississippi River Valley. Most of the moisture still appears elevated perhaps accompanied by pockets of heavy rain and maybe a couple rumbles of thunder an lightning overnight after midnight most likely.
