Wreck at business draws first responders to Vann Drive

JACKSON, Tenn. — A minor wreck outside of a business drew a first responder presence to Vann Drive Thursday afternoon.

Shortly after 1 p.m., WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News tipsters informed us of the collision at the AT&T Store located in the Columns shopping center.

Our crew arrived around 1:30 p.m. to find Jackson Police and Fire Departments responding, as well as an ambulance leaving the scene.

A white van bearing government plates could be seen with damage to the front end, barely connecting with the storefront.

We spoke with responding officers and staff at the business, however no further details were shared by those on scene.

Jackson Police Department’s Atlas One app listed the incident as an accident with injuries, however the extent of any possible injuries is unknown at this time.
