Gray Cold And Windy Today
Weather Update: Monday, January 6 —
Good Morning West Tennessee. In stark contrast to yesterday. Skies will remain overcast as the upper level low pressure associated with the major winter storm that passed just north of the region begins dissipating and pulling away from the region. It will however keep clouds and a few snow flurries around randomly as the morning goes along. At the surface, continental arctic high pressure located in the northern plains will expand further south over the Plains, and closer to the Ozarks by extension. This will help break up some of the clouds which will remain persistent into earlier Tuesday morning. The good news is that clouds will keep lows in check tonight bottoming out around 24°F versus the teens.
