The Ned’s Teen Theatre kicks off auditions for ‘Macbeth’
JACKSON, Tenn. — Calling all young actors and actresses! One local theater is holding auditions for a classic play.
Auditions for the iconic Shakespeare play, Macbeth, adapted by Carrie Smith Lewis were held Monday at The NED in downtown Jackson. And you still have a chance to audition Tuesday, January 7, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Jackson Teen Theatre is looking for performers ages 14 to 18.
“School kids are encouraged to audition. We do have kids who are in public school , nd we do offer a letter an excuse letter so if they wanted to come and audition for us there, they’re more than welcome to. It’s open to every youth,” said Kristin Klonowski, performing arts manager for The Ned.
