Snow fans hit the hills near the ball park

JACKSON, Tenn.—Residents in the Jackson area were having some fun in the snow Saturday.

Several people could be seen awaiting their turn to sled down the hill just outside the Rockabilly Stadium.

What started as just a couple of families taking part in sledding early Saturday morning, turned into over 15 or more by noon.

One resident stated that this has been a tradition for their family from a very young age.

The area has become a staple for those who enjoy sledding every time there is a lot of snow.

“We’re actually seeing some of his friends, some of my little brother’ s friends, some of our family like uncles and aunts are up there too sledding. So just the whole family’s really up here. It’s always fun! We come here every year when it snows. We’ve been here since I was a little baby too a little kid. So it’s just really our to-go spot since we’ve been kids,” said Denisee Dingledine, sledding participants.

It definitely makes for a great way to spend time with family and friends on a snow day.
