More details emerge in shooting that led authorities to Northeast Middle
[Jackson, TN] – Jackson Police officers are investigating a shooting that took place on January 16, 2025, at approximately 3:00 p.m. The incident occurred on the eastbound off-ramp of I-40, merging onto Christmasville Road. The victim’s father drove to Northeast Middle School, located at 2665 Christmasville Rd., before calling the police.

When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds that appeared to be non-life-threatening. They also discovered a child who was uninjured in the back seat of the vehicle. The suspects’ vehicle is described as a black Ford Fusion, which was last seen fleeing south on Dr. F E Wright Dr.
