Former Crockett County daycare employee enters guilty plea

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — Lisa Hobock, a former daycare employee of Crockett Day School, appeared in court Friday.

Hobock appeared in court Friday morning to enter a plea.

Court records from July, 2024, show an investigator stated that video surveillance from the daycare shows Hobock striking a 4-year-old with an open hand gesture on their upper body more than 18 times over a period of 25 seconds.

Hobock entered a guilty plea at the Gibson County Circuit Court. Her sentence says that she will serve probation.
