Jackson Rotary Club accepting nominations for Woman of the Year

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Rotary Club is pleased to announce the upcoming presentation of their 72nd Woman of the Year.

The event will be Wednesday, February 19 at 11:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in downtown Jackson.

Nominations are being accepted for women ages 40 and older who reside in Madison County and exemplify outstanding community service, passion, dedication and selfless leadership.

Completed nominations are due by noon on friday February 7. On presentation day, other women of the year will be in attendance.

“It just always feels my heart with joy to see all of these lovely ladies that are all so different that have given of their time, their resources, shared their passions and their talents,” said Melinda Reid, former president of the Jackson Rotary Club.
