Kristine Lynn Johnson Alexander

Kristine Lynn Johnson Alexander, age 69, resident of Belton, Texas and wife of the late Billy Jack Alexander, departed this life Sunday afternoon, January 26, 2025 at Cordova Wellness and Rehabilitation Center in Cordova, Tennessee.

Kristine was born December 15, 1955 in Greenville, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Leroy Kenneth Johnson and Dolores Mary Frances Tollefsen Johnson. She graduated from high school in Ankara, Turkey in 1973 and continued her education at University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas, earning her BSN in 1977.

Kristine was married June 16, 1979 to Billy Jack Alexander at First Lutheran Church in Temple, Texas. Mr. Alexander preceded her in death on February 20, 2021. She enjoyed a rich and varied life, engaging in hobbies such as waterskiing, reading, studying the Bible and earning a Master Gardener Certification.

Mrs. Alexander is survived by her daughter, Kristin Long (Richard); her sister, Julia Grantham (Steve); her brother-in-law, Tim Dodson); and two nieces, Emily Grantham and Megan Grantham. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Cheryl Johnson.

A celebration of life service will be scheduled at a later date in Temple, Texas.
