President of local Cal Ripken Baseball League charged with theft after investigation
CROCKETT COUNTY, Tenn. — The, now former, president of the Crockett County Cal Ripken Baseball League has been charged following an investigation by the Bells Police Department.
The Bells Police Department says it was recently made aware of financial discrepancies in the Cal Ripken Baseball League’s bank account which led to charges being filed against Randell Mask for theft and fraudulent use of debit/credit card.
The Bells Police Department states that the former president was cooperative, confessed to these charges with plans to make restitution and was booked into the Crockett County Jail.
Officials went on to say that board members have been made aware and they assure generous donors and supporters of the league that the situation has been handled. According to a post made by the league, a new interim president has been named.
