Savannah Police Dept. seizes several drugs, makes 2 arrests following search
PRESS RELEASE FROM THE SAVANNAH POLICE DEPARTMENT:
SAVANNAH, Tenn. — Early this morning, detectives and investigators from Savannah Police Department, Hardin County Sheriff Department, 24th Drug Task Force, and TBI Drug Division executed simultaneous search warrants on two residents located on Ryan Street in the city of Savannah.

During the course of the investigation, information was gathered that led to search warrants being issued for 125 Ryan Street and 130 Ryan Street for the probable distribution of narcotics from individuals residing at those residences.
Those search warrants were executed this morning. As a result, Derick Nathan (B/M, Savannah, TN) and Odarius McNeal (B/M, Savannah, TN) were arrested and charged with multiple charges including possession of schedule VI (marijuana), possession of schedule II (powder cocaine), possession of schedule II (crack cocaine), possession of methamphetamine, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Further charges may be brought in the future as a result of this investigation. Both individuals are considered innocent of these charges until proven guilty.
Chief Pitts stated, “I want to thank the detectives of the SPD, HCSD, DTF, and TBI who have worked this case and spent countless hours on this investigation. As a result of their efforts, narcotics and weapons are off of our streets and our city is safer.”
