UT Extension hosts West TN Grain and Soybean Producers Conference

DYERSBURG, Tenn. — The University of Tennessee Extension hosted their West Tennessee Grain and Soybean Producers Conference Thursday.

There were more than half a dozen presentations covering a variety of agricultural topics including pesticide restrictions, farm financial management and sustainability practices.

The conference’s trade show, one of the largest in West Tennessee, featured industry professionals from across the region sharing the latest technological and agricultural developments.

“It’s definitely a labor of love. It takes a few days to get all this set up and we try to put our best foot forward and be out in the community and show, you know, folks that we care about them,” said Daniel Wiggins, Ag and Natural Resource Agent for UT Extension.

The conference is made possible thanks to industry partners including the Tennessee Soybean Promotion Board and the Tennessee Corn Promotional Council.
