Songwriting competition continues at the Carnegie

JACKSON , Tenn.—Once again music fills the Carnegie as the Tennessee songwriting competition continues.

Talents made their way to the Carnegie in Jackson Saturday morning for a qualifying round of the Tennessee Songwriters week competition.

The event began at 11 this morning and contestants performed their original songs in front of a panel of judges.

Winners from the final competition will move on to the Semi-Finals at Lafayette’s Music Room in Memphis.

Those who move forward in that competition have the opportunity to perform at the Bluebird Café in Nashville.
