Road Closure announced in Martin

According to the City of Martin Fire/EMS departments the following areas are closed or need to traveled with caution due to flooding.
Mt. Pelia Road is closed beginning at Red Barn Kennels and just past Three Point Grocery. Water is over the road at the bridge. One motorist has been reportedly stranded. Please use Garner Road to Hawks but use caution. Low areas have water over the road at points as well.
TDOT has been notified and is assisting with blocking traffic. Please be very cautious at South McCombs, Hyndsver Gardner and at Main Street at Cranked Up Garage as well. Please be vigilant if you need to be out in your vehicle.
