Freed-Hardeman University’s new dining hall, Chick-Fil-A opens to the public
HENDERSON, Tenn. — There’s a new dining opportunity for those in the Henderson community.
The new Chick-Fil-A and Jones Family Dining hall at Freed-Hardeman University opened Monday morning.
Both eating options are open to the public. University President David R. Shannon shares that he’s thankful for the community to experience not only delicious food but the economic benefit through employment.
Between dining and Chick-Fil-A, FHU has over 120 employees.
“Our team is super excited to have this beautiful new facility and to be able to provide students with an upgrade dining experience,” said Michele Little, foodservice director for Lion’s Pride Dining Services.
Record crowds are expected for the rest of opening week. The Chick-Fil-A is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Mondays through Saturdays.
