Local family searches for beloved lost pet
LEXINGTON, Tenn.—One West TN family is searching for a beloved lost pet.
A local family has reached out to WBBJ-7 asking for help in finding a lost family member… a furry family member.
Angie Wood contacted us regarding her nieces missing dog.
According to Wood the dog, a Border Collie, went missing on February 6, 2025 near the Lexington Bypass. Although the family, close neighbors, church family and surrounding community have searched, still no signs of Lucy.
Lucy is a female, Dark Merle Border Collie with lots of white. She also has been spade and has a scar on her belly.
The loss of Lucy has left the family devastated. Most affected are Wood’s two nieces who have been heartbroken without their pet.
The family believes the dog could have been stolen. They have placed numerous flyers and even took the search to social media with over 1,000 shares but still no word on Lucy’s whereabouts.
The family also has a $500 cash reward being offered for the safe return of Lucy.
So if you live in Lexington, the surrounding area or anywhere near West TN and have seen Lucy, please contact (731)-614-3559.
