Leland Franklin “Josh” Herriman, born June 25, 1937, in Jackson, Tennessee, passed away on February 22, 2025, in Bells, Tennessee.

Leland was a devoted fan of the University of Tennessee football team and found great joy in hunting and fishing. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Bemis and cherished the time he spent with his family. A proud father and grandfather, he leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Katie Ellis Herriman; his beloved wife, Peggy Herriman; and his brother, Eugene Herriman.

Leland is survived by his daughters, Kim Edwards and Gina Brown; his grandchildren, Garrett Edwards, Kyle Edwards, Isabella Edwards, Amanda Martin, and Janna Kail (Josh); and his great-grandchildren, Nolan Lindsay, Annsley Martin, and Anna Lynn Kail.

A graveside service to honor Leland’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 26, at 11:00 AM at Ebenezer Cemetery in Malesus.

Leland will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
