Paving projects moving forward in Henderson County
FROM HENDERSON COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Paving Projects Update for Henderson County!
We’re excited to share that paving projects in Henderson County are moving forward, thanks to our strong partnerships with the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) and our continued efforts to ensure our county’s infrastructure needs are met.
For several months, we’ve been working diligently to address these issues, advocating for improvements that will make our roads safer and smoother for everyone. We appreciate the public’s patience and understanding as we’ve worked through this process, and we’re proud to see these projects now moving forward!
SR-20 (U.S. 412) – From the Madison County line to Crucifer Road (4.33 miles)
Bid Amount: $3.2M – $3.8M
SR-22 – From the Chester County line to Taylor Bailey Road, including bridge overlay on Piney Creek (8.98 miles)
Bid Amount: $2.2M – $2.6M
These improvements will enhance safety, smooth out road conditions, and improve travel for all residents and visitors.
We are especially grateful for the support of Senator Ed Jackson and Representatives Kirk Haston and Brock Martin for their dedication to Henderson County and their advocacy for these much-needed infrastructure improvements. Their commitment to our community has helped ensure our voices were heard at the state level.
Thank you to TDOT and to our community for your patience and support—we look forward to seeing these projects take shape!
Mayor Robbie McCready
