CHAPEL HILL, Tenn. (AP) – Henry Horton State Park’s 10th annual fall festival kicks off on Friday.
Besides live entertainment, organizers say festival activities will include: sheep dog demonstrations, horse-mounted shooters, old-time children’s games, bee keeping and log cabin building demonstrations.
There will also be more than 40 craft vendors at the festival, which concludes Saturday at 5 p.m.
Henry Horton is a 1,532-acre state park with four hiking trails and features an abundance of wildlife such as wild turkey, deer and various wildflowers.
The park is also known for its championship 18-hole golf course, inn and cabins, campgrounds and trap and skeet range.
