JACKSON, Tenn.—One local organization dedicated to changing lives celebrates a milestone.

The Women of Hope organization has officially been changing the lives of women in west TN for the better part of 15 years.

The group focuses on helping those struggling to rise above addiction to discover a life free from drug abuse and newly dedicate it to finding a path to their best self.

At 2 this afternoon, the organization hosts an anniversary event at the Hope Recovery Center located at 1925 Highway 18 in Medon.

The event was filled with messages of hope, love and support from various members, as well as testimonies from individuals who have benefitted from the supportive community the organization provides.

“It’s amazing to see them like grow in this program and graduate. Getting to see them reunited with their families and getting their kids back is just an amazing experience to see first hand,” said Michael Mills, Marketing Coordinator for Hope Recovery.

Since its start 15 years ago, the organization has expanded its services to support men’s recovery. They also have a restaurant where members can find employment, while in the program.
