Greater Jackson Chamber hosts its ‘Women in Business’ event

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Greater Jackson Chamber held their ‘Women in Business’ event Tuesday at the Jackson Country Club.

The event was an opportunity for women in business to come together for fellowship, learning opportunities and to network with other women.

Tuesday’s gathering featured Friends of Heart Executive Director Tracey McKnight. She shared how Jackson can become the first 4-minute city in the nation.

The 4 Minute City program helps local communities reduce response time related to cardiac arrests. Around 150 women were in attendance.

“It’s a great feeling to know that so many women are in the workforce and that can get out and come to these things and network to hear lots of things that are going on within our city,” said Cassandra Fuller, vice president of marketing and events for Greater Jackson Chamber.

The next Women in Business event is scheduled for Thursday, May 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Union University.
