Community Economic Development Commission holds monthly meeting
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Community Economic Development Commission met for their monthly meeting to discuss old and new business.
Some of the members on the commission visited Franklin, Tennessee for a conference and shared some of the things they learned while there. During this meeting they also reviewed finances and last meeting minutes.
New business included an update on the wayfinder research.
“We’re involved in a project with several different entities in the community look at wayfinding needs. So a study is being done and we’re also looking at the brand of Jackson-Madison County,” said Lori Nunnery, CEO of Visit Jackson, TN.
Their meetings are open to the public and the next one is scheduled in April.
