Jackson police respond to shooting involving juvenile
UPDATE (3/6/25): Teen charged in fatal shooting of 15-year-old in Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn. — Earlier Wednesday, our WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News tipsters informed of us a heavy police presence in one residential area.
Around 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, our news team arrived to Dustin Drive in south Jackson to find police officers at the scene. Officers were seen walking in and outside of a home looking for evidence.
After reaching out to the Jackson Police Department, it was confirmed a shooting occurred on Dustin Drive. One juvenile has been reported as injured, though the extent of their injuries is not known.
According to JPD, all persons of interests are currently being questioned. No other suspects are being sought at this time.
This is an ongoing investigation and any further information will be released once it is available.
