Police investigate shots fired in Henderson

HENDERSON, Tenn. — Police confirm they are investigating a shooting in the city of Henderson.

Around 8 p.m., we received a tip of a large police presence on Iris Street in Henderson and reports of gunshots. At the scene, the road was partially blocked off and authorities had crime scene tape up.

We spoke to Henderson Police Chief Gary Davidson who says during their preliminary investigation they spoke to neighbors who say 2 cars pulled up to a residence.

There was some type of altercation between the occupants of the car and a resident of a home. Police confirm shots were fired, but that there are no injuries reported.
